I recently got this from Sephora, and definitely have heard a ton of great things about this foundation. This retailed for $34 CAN, which is quite decent considering it is a high end foundation but most Clinique foundation products typically range from $20-35 CAN. I got this in the shade 6.5 Buttermilk.
This claims to be a perfect for Dry Combination to Combination oily/mixte while giving moderate to full coverage. It’s suppose to be lightweight and very natural coverage while having a natural Matte Finish. It’s oil-free and 100% Fragrance free like most Clinique products.
First Impression:
Packaging: 3.0/5.0

It comes in a Slick matte textured box, and the foundation bottle itself is made of glass. The bottle is 30 ml which is a very typical amount of product for a foundation.

It comes with a doe foot applicator wand (similar to the ones that are used for concealer and lip gloss) which I’m not really loving. It just doesn’t seem very hygienic, especially if you’re oily and break out very often and put it directly to your face. I definitely prefer pumps for hygiene reasons but I can see why this would be useful.
Formula: 4.0/5.0

The Formula is very thick but feels slightly heavy; however, it is really easy to blend and definitely has a natural finish.
Coverage: 4.5/5.0

Just from applying 1 light layer on my hands, it covered quite a bit of my blue veins as well as evened out the skin on my hand.
Overall Review:
I put this foundation on this morning, and luckily, decided to hit the gym. Today was a cardio day so I definitely was sweating a lot. Even with all that sweating, the foundation still looked fresh after the 2 hour workout. It still quite matte.
The coverage is amazing and covered all my hyper pigmentation and pimples. I didn’t even need to go in again with concealer. I just added another layer for the area that needed more coverage. I did notice that some came off on the sides of my nose after 5 hours but it isn’t anything too dramatic.
You probably need to blot and powder a few time throughout the day but other then that, I would recommend this.
